Job Title: Paralegal Specialist About the Job: As a Paralegal Specialist in the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in providing legal support to judges, Army lawyers, and unit commanders. Your responsibilities will include assisting with legal matters, judicial work, and administrative tasks. You will work closely with legal teams to ensure that all legal documents are accurate and up-to-date. Key Responsibilities: • Provide legal documents in courts-martial and other military justice matters • Assist with legal affairs, such as power of attorney, wills, and separation decrees • Maintain law/administrative library • Monitor and review actions for accuracy What You'll Learn: As a Paralegal Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop valuable skills in law, administration, and communication. You will learn how to interview witnesses, research court decisions and Army regulations, process legal claims and appeals, and prepare records of hearings, investigations, courts-martial, and courts of inquiry.
