Key Responsibilities
  • Build Schedule Coordination: Collaborate with corporate planning, manufacturing supervisors, and other stakeholders to prepare and distribute build schedules.
  • Expediting: Prioritize, schedule, and expedite critical jobs to satisfy business goals and customer demands.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide inputs to corporate planning on shipment schedules, plans, and forecasts based on capacity.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain, evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements in material requirements planning (MRP) to drive down inventory levels.
  • Engineering Change Requests: Coordinate ECRs to ensure stock balancing activities occur properly to eliminate slow-moving/obsolete inventory.
  • Data Entry: Perform extensive data entry and research to resolve inventory discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience: College degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Skills: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and working knowledge of Shop Floor Control and AS400 system and Oracle
  • Key Competencies: Sound business judgment and decision making, ability to work with customers and suppliers for on-time deliveries
