About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and implementation of construction projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Direct and manage construction projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with building and safety regulations.
  • Scheduling and Cost Control: Review project schedules and estimates, and implement cost control measures to ensure project profitability.
  • Team Management: Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, and manage the planning and execution of construction tasks in line with project schedules.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques, and maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, and negotiate terms of agreements and contracts.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a proven track record in podium mixed use, multi-family, and commercial construction.
  • Education: BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods, and expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
