We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Oklahoma Wound Center, located within Norman Regional Health System. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the development of a plan of care for selected patients.

About the Role

This fast-paced outpatient wound center is the largest in the Oklahoma City area, treating a wide variety of patients with diverse wound types. Most commonly seen is the diabetic foot ulcer, but we also treat surgical, traumatic, and burn wounds. Our nursing staff collaborate closely with physicians to achieve optimal healing results.

The ideal candidate will possess a state LPN license and BLS certification, with previous hospital experience preferred. A completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse and current Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training during orientation prior to providing patient care are required. Additionally, maintaining Basic Life Support (BLS) throughout employment is essential.

  • Assist with patient procedures and monitor patients' progress
  • Maintain exam/treatment rooms and work environment
