About the Job:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Support Specialist to join our team at Community Housing Innovations. As a key member of our support services team, you will provide a safe, structured, and supervised environment for our residents and staff.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain visibility and safety throughout the facility, wearing a safety monitor vest, ID badge, and professional attire.
  • Screen all clients and visitors entering the facility, performing bag searches as required.
  • Ensure clients adhere to facility, DSS, and OTDA policies and procedures.
  • De-escalate potential crisis situations and document interventions.
  • Conduct regular rounds throughout the facility, completing logs, incident reports, and other documentation.
  • Perform administrative duties, including receptionist work at the operations desk.
  • Monitor video surveillance cameras, fire prevention systems, and notification systems.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of $19.00 per hour (approximately $15,808 annually).

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a related field preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
  • Basic competency in MS Windows, MS Office, and internet usage.
