Job Summary

We are seeking a Total Rewards Director to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will lead the development and management of employee benefits, compensation structures, and HR Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain knowledge of US and International economic conditions, labor markets, and other factors related to ensuring the organization provides competitive and reasonable benefits and compensation scales and structures
  • Oversee employee benefits contracts and programs including plan design, administration, enrollment, education, compliance, reporting, and filings
  • Ensure plans accommodate cultural, geographical, and cost objectives
  • Design, develop, and implement compensation programs, policies, and procedures to respond to the company's goals and competitive practices
  • Participate in and manage salary/benefit surveys to ensure compensation objectives are achieved
  • Support HR team members and business leadership in job evaluation, offer pricing, and review of internal pay equity
  • Keep apprised of US and International laws and regulations to ensure company compliance
  • Facilitate accurate and timely delivery of employer contributions and employee payroll deductions to carriers, plan administrators, or other appropriate service providers
  • Complete records, reporting, and other documentation required by federal, state, local, and provider rules, regulations, and policies
  • Conduct employee surveys, census, and other research and demographic efforts required to collect accurate quotes from benefit providers
  • Establish procedures to ensure all employees are assisted appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Responsible for the design, administration, and implementation of HR systems
  • Promote efficient and automated workflows to provide users with appropriate data access and to maximize data integrity
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field; required
  • 15 or more years of progressively more responsible Human Resources experience which includes:
    • 5 years of experience in employee benefit design and management
    • 5 years of experience in compensation design and program administration
    • 5 years of experience in HR System administration
    • 5 or more years of experience in a firm that provides engineering/science infrastructure design services
  • Professional certification as a Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire

Working Conditions
