About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Harborview Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Prep and maintain operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform scrub role, maintaining vigilance of instruments and supplies used during surgical procedures.
  • Support post-operative tasks, including removal of contaminated instruments, decontamination, sterilization, and turnover of the operating room.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of a Surgical Technologist program and one year of experience assisting clinical staff in a variety of operative procedures in an operating room environment.
  • Registration by the State of Washington as a Surgical Technologist or licensure in the State of Washington as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Physician.
