About International Friendships, Inc.:

International Friendships, Inc. is a dynamic faith-driven organization dedicated to providing transformative hospitality and companionship to international college students. Our mission encompasses a variety of services including airport pickups, holiday hosting, temporary accommodations, conversation partnerships, and engaging social events and excursions.

Work Schedule Expectations:

  • Flexible hours, available for full- or part-time commitments
  • Occasional evening and weekend responsibilities for specific initiatives
  • Participation in multiple annual conferences, including IFI Staff Retreats

Compensation Structure:

  • Development of a team of ministry partners to secure necessary prayer and financial backing for salary, benefits, and operational costs
  • Comprehensive training provided to cultivate a supportive partner network
  • Salary range typically between $25,709 and $80,000 post-support development, contingent on experience and other considerations

Responsibilities:

The Campus Minister will be an integral part of the ministry team, focusing on outreach and support for international students. Responsibilities include:

  • Engaging in IFI-sponsored outreach initiatives and developing culturally relevant programs
  • Building relationships with international students through personal connections, one-on-one Bible study sessions, and group discussions
  • Providing discipleship to international students through both structured and informal interactions
  • Establishing and maintaining financial and prayer partnerships to meet the role's budgetary needs by sharing the ministry's vision
  • Regularly meeting with supervisors for guidance and feedback; quarterly assessments of goal achievement; engaging with other IFI staff for mentoring and training
  • Studying international cultures, particularly those of the students served

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to IFI's statement of faith, core values, and policies
  • Demonstrated faithfulness, loyalty, and dedication to IFI's mission of extending God's love globally
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to work independently
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Capacity to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and enjoyment in working with diverse populations
  • Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office and Google applications

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • At least one year of experience in campus ministry or completion of the IFI ISEED Program
