Key Responsibilities of the Professional Truck Operator:
- Safely and accurately operate company vehicles to deliver sprayer or fertilizer orders.
- Maintain and complete necessary documentation as mandated by the organization and regulatory bodies.
- Transport products to clients as required.
- Assist in loading trailers with materials.
- Efficiently unload trailers of bulk chemicals and fertilizers at designated facilities, utilizing forklifts or hand trucks as needed.
- Stay informed about the potential hazards associated with products and implement appropriate safety measures.
- Execute all duties with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on equipment.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications for the Professional Truck Operator:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous driving experience is preferred.
- Must possess a driving record that aligns with company standards.
- Must fulfill Department of Transportation physical and medical criteria and successfully complete substance abuse testing.
- A valid CDL A or B is required.
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Background in agriculture is advantageous.
Compensation for the Professional Truck Operator:
- Comprehensive benefits package.
- Hourly wage ranging from $18 to $30, depending on experience.
