Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at The Kraft Heinz Company's processing facility in Winchester, VA. As an Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems and equipment to prevent failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Install, test, and commission new electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with maintenance planners to develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans.
  • Participate in the installation, startup, and troubleshooting of new equipment and systems.
  • Perform PLC, HMI, and process control responsibilities, as well as knowledge of motor control centers.
  • Install and troubleshoot instrumentation, and perform general electrical duties such as installing conduit and wiring motors.
  • Support plant projects and participate in the development of maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Successfully complete all required periodic plant and job-specific training.
  • Participate as an active member in the PSM Team and adhere to all site rules and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the electrical field, with a strong background in electrical systems and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to perform accurate work, with attention to detail and the ability to function in a high-performance work team.
  • Must be available to work all shifts, including second, third, and weekends, and holidays.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer a competitive salary of $33.70/hour, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, pet insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 1st shift.
