Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing large hydraulic pumps and valves, as well as electrical systems and air compressors. They will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing hydraulic machine controls, troubleshooting hydraulic systems, and performing welding and small fabrication tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic pumps and valves, electrical systems, and air compressors
  • Maintain and repair hydraulic machine controls and troubleshoot hydraulic systems
  • Perform welding and small fabrication tasks to correct root cause failures
  • Work on various equipment, including electric drive motors, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic systems, VFD controls, pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders, and safety-related aspects
  • Provide technical support for injection molding machines, auxiliary components, chiller functions, water systems, nitrogen systems, and safety controls
Requirements
  • Associate's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in plastic injection molding and/or hydraulics in a manufacturing setting
  • Understanding of machine controls, HMI interface, fanuc robot teach pendants, and injection molding processes
  • Familiarity with hydraulic injection molding machines from OEM vendors, such as Engel, Kraus, Mafia, Milacron, Arburg, and Fanuc robots
  • Experience in maintenance, including hydraulics, electronics, pneumatics, machining, welding, electrical, and print reading
  • Ability to read hydraulic schematics, electrical schematics, and troubleshoot equipment performance
  • Ability to work in a team setting, self-motivated, productive, and without direct supervision
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2/2/3 schedule from 7pm-7am
