Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Outpatient LPN to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Outpatient LPN to provide high-quality patient care in our outpatient setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide basic therapeutic nursing care to patients under the direction of registered nurses.
- Assist with performance improvement initiatives and participate in unit teams, work groups, and committees.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients/families to achieve desired outcomes.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records and notes, and document all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN school.
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a LPN.
- Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, and computer skills.
