Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Fairfax, Virginia.
Job Summary:As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Outpatient department, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver routine and standardized care to patients with predictable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records, notes, and physician orders.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients/families to achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to unit-based quality improvement activities.
- Identify own learning needs based on self-evaluation and progress made from the previous year.
- Graduate of an accredited LPN school.
- 2 years of LPN experience required.
- BLS Certification (from the American Heart Association).
- Eligible for licensing in the commonwealth of Virginia as a LPN.
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
