Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, reviewing updated financial statements and proactively monitoring for potential risks.
  • Partner with the Relationship Manager to form the "coverage team" and work together to achieve business objectives.
  • Meet with clients and participate in business development calls to identify new opportunities and build relationships.
  • Assess prospective clients' viability for credit and define borrowers, guarantors, deal structure, credit terms, and conditions.
  • Value collateral and perform final risk rating analysis to ensure accurate credit decisions.
  • Capture and document credit decisions, conditions, and modifications, and collaborate with the Credit Analyst to perform portfolio management duties.
  • Establish and maintain Investor Group on lender Portal and perform monitoring actions and conduct periodic deal reviews.
  • Execute decisions to renew or modify deals and communicate directly with clients regarding credit events and actions as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting).
  • At least 3 years credit analysis and/or loan review experience in Commercial Banking.
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking skills, with the ability to partner with all deal stakeholders.
  • Expertise in financial and risk analysis, including financial modeling, and proficiency with technology.
