Strategic Mission Coordinator

JT4 is seeking a dedicated Mission Planner to support critical operations.
This role involves executing mission planning and data management tasks for the U.S. Air Force Bomber Squadron. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the mission planning software suite, providing essential support to squadron personnel in developing and sustaining mission data scenarios. Collaboration with pilots and maintenance teams is a key aspect of this position.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitating mission planning for Bomber test operations (B-1, B-2, B-52)
- Evaluating updates and modifications to mission planning
- Installing and assessing new software for testing
- Ensuring the functionality of systems and software
- Coordinating necessary authorizations for operations and upgrades
- Participating in demonstrations and evaluations
- Building collaborative relationships across various teams
- Providing insights to stakeholders, including operational tests and contractors
- Interpreting and clarifying mission requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
- Familiarity with Joint Mission Planning System and Portable Flight Planning Software
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- 2-5 years of experience in mission planning or related fields, including knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, UNIX, Solaris, or Windows
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Must possess or be eligible for a Secret Clearance
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a team-oriented mindset
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous military experience
- Experience in test planning and execution
- Flight experience
- Knowledge of various planning software tools
- Experience with web-based flight planning solutions
- Familiarity with Bomber tactics and electronic warfare systems
- Prior experience in Bomber mission planning or weapon systems
- CompTIA Security+ certification is highly desirable; ability to obtain within six months of hire
SALARY RANGE
The anticipated salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $160,000 annually.
