Job Overview

About the Role

This full-time position is responsible for providing high-quality patient care through the application of the nursing process and established guidelines of nursing practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Initial Intake: Ensure that all necessary information is gathered and documented accurately.
    • Patient Room Preparation: Prepare patient rooms according to established protocols, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients.
    • Patient Order: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, while maintaining accurate records of patient progress.
    • Point of Care: Provide direct patient care, addressing their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
    • Patient Safety: Identify potential safety risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them, ensuring a safe environment for our patients and staff.
    • Attend Staff Meetings: Participate in regular staff meetings to stay informed about hospital policies, procedures, and best practices.

Reporting Relationships

The successful candidate will report directly to the Nurse Manager and/or Nurse Supervisor, who will provide guidance and support in their role. Additionally, they will be responsible for supervising clinical staff in the absence of the Nurse Supervisor/Manager.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following qualifications:
    • Minimum Education: Nursing diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
    • License, Registry, or Certification: Current New Jersey RN license, CPR certification, or obtain certification within 6 months.
    • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Good communication and interpersonal skills, decision-making ability, telephone etiquette, detail-oriented, multitasking, and the ability to handle a high volume of patients.

Salary Information

Based on industry standards and market conditions, we estimate the salary for this position to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
