Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at Boston Medical Center (BMC). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.

About the Role

The Nurse Care Specialist will provide direct patient care, including health maintenance, teaching, counseling, and restoration of optimal functioning and comfort. You will also be responsible for collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, addressing specific needs from infant to elderly patients
  • Incorporate knowledge of patient rights, mission, vision, and values into nursing practice
  • Assume full responsibility for the quality of nursing care provided to individuals and groups
  • Delegate nursing activities to other registered nurses and healthcare personnel as needed
  • Develop and maintain strong assessment, clinical, organizational, and computer skills
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or current enrollment in a BSN program
  • Current MA RN license
  • Previous RN experience required
  • Telemetry experience necessary
  • Successful completion of Standard Med test
  • Excellent communication and mathematical computation skills
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
