Job Overview

Position Title: Security Team Member

Reports To: Campground Manager, Maintenance Supervisor, and/or Owners

Position Summary: The Security Team Member is tasked with ensuring the safety of campers and enforcing campground regulations to maintain a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist late arrivals to their designated campsites and provide parking assistance as necessary. Maintain a record of firewood deliveries after hours and ensure equipment is properly stored post-movie nights.
  • Monitor camper behavior during quiet hours, ensuring respect for fellow guests. Document any violations of campground rules and adhere to all safety protocols established by KOA and local regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by being attentive and responsive to guest inquiries and concerns. Report any issues or requests to the appropriate management personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing systems.

  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Capability to move, lift, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Endurance for long periods of standing and ability to bend, kneel, and climb.
  • Proficiency in operating various maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Able to travel by vehicle and work in diverse outdoor conditions.
  • Capable of navigating uneven terrain safely.
