We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Inspector to join our team at Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC. As a key member of our Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our transportation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test construction materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Communication: Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and clients, to ensure effective project communication and issue resolution.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of project activities, including inspection reports and test results.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including safety and environmental regulations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying preferred.
- Experience: 6 years of relevant experience in construction inspection, materials testing, and quality control.
- Certifications: Must hold relevant certifications, such as OSHA 10, Work Zone Traffic Control, and Confined Space Entry & Self Rescue- Competent Person.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to construction sites and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
