This Pharmacy Manager role plays a critical part in delivering our purpose and modeling our values. As a leader, you will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, developing and implementing best practices in pharmacy management, and driving business growth through strategic initiatives.
About the Job- As a Pharmacy Manager, you will oversee daily operations, lead a team of pharmacists and technicians, and implement quality assurance measures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date on changing regulations, identifying business opportunities, and developing strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.
- Patient Safety: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Pharmacy Professional Practice: Develop and implement best practices in pharmacy management, including quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
- Regulatory Requirements: Stay up-to-date on changing regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and improve pharmacy operations to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to patients, customers, and caregivers.
- Personnel Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team of pharmacists and technicians.
- Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Financial Profitability: Drive revenue growth through effective cost management and strategic initiatives.
- Loss Prevention: Identify and mitigate risks to prevent financial losses.
- Workflow Management: Streamline processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Lead with Heart: Demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues.

- Active Pharmacy License: Must hold a valid pharmacy license in the state where employed.
- Not on DEA Excluded Parties List: Must not be listed on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
- Immunization Certification: Must hold immunization certification through an accredited organization (e.g., APhA).
- Listed as Pharmacist in Charge: Must be listed as the pharmacist in charge on the pharmacy's state license.
- PMP Registration: Must submit required information/documents to register for PMP access in states with active PMP programs.
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.: Preferred degree for this role.
