IT Support Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable IT professional to facilitate employee onboarding and provide comprehensive office support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire laptops, peripherals, monitors, printers, and accessories for new hires and current employees.
  • Set up new laptops for incoming staff, including asset management and configuration of necessary accounts.
  • Provision and resolve issues related to our cloud-based telephony system.
  • Provide end-user assistance for Windows desktops/laptops, Mac systems, and mobile devices.
  • Deliver on-call support for VIPs and overnight staff, rotating every three weeks.
  • Assist with local and network printers, VPN account management, VOIP configurations, and desktop phone support.
  • Oversee Microsoft Office 365, OneDrive for Business, mapped network drives, mobile email support, and software installation/troubleshooting.
  • Manage IT hardware inventory at local sites, ensuring 100% accuracy in the IT asset management system.
  • Perform additional IT-related tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • At least 5 years of general IT experience with both Windows and Mac systems, including installation and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office and other common applications.
  • Basic understanding of security protocols and experience with two-factor/multi-factor authentication solutions.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures in compliance with strict cybersecurity standards.
  • Familiarity with ITIL problem management and support ticket systems.
  • Basic knowledge of office networking, including switching and connectivity.
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory administration is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager is preferred.
  • An associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Support for multiple languages and keyboard layouts is a plus.
