Key Responsibilities- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to healthcare professionals, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and preparing billing documents.
- Patient Care: Coordinate patient care activities, including verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and registering patients.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Collect and analyze data to generate quality assurance reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Training and Guidance: Provide training and guidance to new staff members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional patient care.
- Liaison: Act as a liaison between hospital departments and PHS affiliates, facilitating communication and collaboration to achieve shared goals.
- Education: High School Diploma required; Associate degree or certificate in Business or Medical Assisting preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience, preferably in a clinical setting or as a Patient Services Coordinator I.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
