The Quality Assurance Inspector plays a crucial role in assessing samples of packaging materials, in-process products, and final goods to verify compliance with established quality and safety standards. This position involves conducting various inspection activities, including visual assessments, physical measurements, and package integrity evaluations to detect any flaws or deviations from defined quality benchmarks. The inspector will provide analytical data and insights to support both the Quality Assurance and Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual assessments of packaging materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify quality issues or non-conformities.
  • Oversee production equipment performance and document any operational challenges, adjustments to equipment settings, or deviations from standard operating procedures.
  • Accurately record inspection findings and maintain comprehensive documentation of any quality discrepancies noted.
  • Adhere to established protocols and standards to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality assurance programs.
  • Execute additional tasks as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager or Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Prior experience in food manufacturing or laboratory environments is advantageous.
