Position Overview:

The role of a Paramedic is critical in ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals in emergency situations. This position is dedicated to preserving life, alleviating suffering, and promoting health through expert medical intervention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responding promptly to emergency calls and providing advanced life support (ALS) as required.
  • Conducting thorough medical assessments to determine the necessary course of action.
  • Operating emergency vehicles while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Ensuring compliance with the US DOT 'Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic: National Standard Curriculum' and state-specific regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Possession of a valid South Carolina State Driver's License.
  • Certification as a Paramedic at either the state or national level.
  • Current certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS) may be obtained upon employment.
