Surgical Technician Opportunities at Norton Healthcare

We are seeking skilled Surgical Technicians to join our team at Norton Healthcare. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and handle instrumentation and surgical equipment with precision and attention to detail.
  • Assist surgeons during surgical procedures, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Administer care and use of equipment applications based on the age and needs of the patient population served.
  • Prioritize and plan effectively, recognizing the changing nature of the work situation during surgical procedures.
  • Recognize and respond to urgent or emergency situations, demonstrating a commitment to patient safety.
Requirements:
  • One year of surgical tech experience, completion of a surgical tech program, or completion of a surgical tech apprentice program.
  • Ability to work under the full scope of practice as a surgical technician in our five area hospitals.
