Surgical Technician Opportunities at Norton Healthcare

We are seeking skilled Surgical Technicians to join our team at Norton Healthcare. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and handling of instrumentation and surgical equipment
  • Assisting the surgeon during surgical procedures
  • Administering care and using equipment applications based on patient needs
  • Prioritizing and planning to address changing work situations during surgical procedures
  • Recognizing and responding to urgent or emergency situations
  • Applying knowledge of medical terminology, the metric system, and aseptic technique in patient interactions
Requirements:
  • One year of surgical tech experience or completion of a surgical tech program or apprentice program
  • For Senior Surgical Technician, three years of experience and certification as a Surgical Tech (CST)
