About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Brook & Whittle, a leading provider of sustainable labeling solutions. As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality labels for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain slitter and seamer machines, as well as perform setup and quality control tasks.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and meet production deadlines.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications.
  • Retrieve and manage supplies and materials for the machine and daily operation.
  • Participate in department meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of printing experience preferred.
  • Strong math skills and understanding of metric and standard measurements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
