Position Summary

We are seeking a Credit Department Manager to oversee and coordinate the activities of credit personnel, offering support to clients and sales representatives.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:
  • Leading and engaging in all functions of the Credit Department.
  • Enhancing process efficiency.
  • Motivating and managing Credit Department staff.
  • Establishing operational procedures and workflows.
  • Overseeing accounts receivable management, cash applications, account maintenance, and more.
  • Reconciling high-volume accounts.
  • Addressing customer concerns.
  • Setting up credit lines and new accounts.
  • Collaborating with other department leaders.
  • Determining credit limits and security requirements.
  • Managing return authorizations and additional tasks.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervising the Credit Department team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

ROLE SPECIFICATIONS, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in ERP Accounting Software.
  • Strong communication skills in client-facing situations.
  • Expertise in business processes and software solutions.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft O365 System Administration.
QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Strong analytical and communication skills are crucial.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to interpret technical procedures and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Proficiency in accurately calculating numerical data.

REASONING ABILITY

Capability to analyze complex issues and make informed decisions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This role is primarily office-based, with occasional requirements for standing and walking.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position involves working in a quiet office setting with occasional exposure to mechanical components.
