Compensation: $18/HR
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality meals and baked items following a structured menu.
- Compile daily reports to confirm financial transactions.
- Understand meal components and ensure proper food storage practices.
- Serve meals in accordance with established schedules and departmental guidelines.
- Utilize kitchen tools safely, with particular attention to knives.
- Efficiently prepare a variety of food items and beverages.
- Enhance food presentation with appropriate garnishes to improve customer satisfaction.
- Assist in thorough cleaning of kitchen equipment, including refrigerators and serving utensils.
- Comply with all food safety standards regarding sanitation and food handling.
- Follow the uniform policy diligently.
- Engage with the supervisor daily to ensure accurate meal preparation.
- Monitor food temperature compliance.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
- Perform cleaning tasks such as scrubbing surfaces and sanitizing equipment.
- Ensure waste disposal areas and kitchen floors are kept clean and orderly.
- Execute additional duties as assigned, which may include various kitchen tasks.
- This position may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
- Food Service Certification (if required)
- Ability to read, write, and follow both verbal and written instructions
- Capability to work efficiently under pressure
- Must successfully pass a background check within a 7-year timeframe.
