Zyscovich is seeking a dynamic Senior Project Architect to join their team.
Responsibilities- Project Development: Develops projects in coordination with client requirements, specifications, and goals.
- Communication: Capable of communicating project ideas using sketches, and computer design tools such as 3D modeling, AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), SketchUp, Abode Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign).
- Design Development: Works with the Director of Design and Project Managers to prepare design development drawings and produce documents through to the construction documents phase.
- Collaboration: Works collaboratively with office staff and other satellite offices.
- Project Coordination: Coordinates and maintains project files including correspondence, drawings, and other relevant materials associated with projects.
- Construction Administration: Assists during the construction administration in the review and processing of shop drawings and approvals of material samples.
- Design and Construction Knowledge: Strong knowledge of design and construction methods.
- Code Compliance: Outstanding knowledge of construction drawing standards, and code compliance.
- Experience: 15+ years of relevant experience in Architecture.
- Licensure: Licensed Architect.
- Project Experience: Experience in large institutional projects with primary responsibility for document production.
- Design and Technical Skills: Excellent design, computer, technical, and graphic skills.
- Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge and proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Additional Skills: Knowledge in 3D programs (Sketchup, Max, Rhino), and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) a plus.
- Communication and Organization: Excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail, and highly organized.
- Self-Motivation and Multi-Tasking: Self-starter, able to work independently, and able to multi-task.
- Portfolio: Please provide 1-3 PDF pages (5Mb max) with samples of your work and portfolio.
- Education: Bachelor's/Masters of Arts or Science in Architecture.
- Residency: Must reside in the Orlando or Miami Dade/Broward County Area.
