Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach a Communication course at St. Louis Community College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching face-to-face classes, assisting students with mastery of subject matter, and maintaining current knowledge of the subject area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach assigned classes under coordinator supervision
  • Assist students with mastery of subject matter
  • Maintain current and up-to-date knowledge of subject area
  • Utilize current technology
  • Maintain standards of professional conduct and ethics
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a Master's degree with 18 Graduate Credit hours in Communication or a related field. Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate sensitivity to and understanding of the diversity of the college's student body.

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience at the college level is preferred.
