Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care Medicine Specialties to join our team. This role will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, prioritizing wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic team player who values a multidisciplinary approach to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Provides direct care to patients with moderate to high acuity in specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units.
Utilizes evidence-based care models to deliver high-quality patient care.
Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Prioritizes patient safety and quality at the point of care.
Contributes to the development of nursing staff through precepting and mentoring.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
