Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to fill a locum tenens position at a healthcare facility in Washington. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and adolescents. Job Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, your duties will include:
  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribing medications and managing chronic conditions.
  • Providing patient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Performing procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty.
  • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Documenting patient care accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements

To be considered for this locum tenens Pediatric Nurse Practitioner position, you must have:
  • A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on a Pediatric NP specialty.
  • An active and unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license in Washington.
  • National certification as a Pediatric NP by a recognized certifying body.
  • At least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to your specialty.
