As a Separately Managed Accounts Analyst at Capital Group International Inc., you will play a crucial role in the precise execution of investment directives within SMA frameworks. You will often work autonomously on various tasks or under the guidance of senior colleagues for more intricate projects and analyses.
Your position will require you to serve as a vital link among our investment division, trading desk, product management, legal team, client services, and multiple operational units to fulfill business objectives and address challenges. You will utilize technology and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and support the company's growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement investment orders in SMA models with a focus on accuracy.
- Facilitate timely communication of model changes to relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various teams to resolve operational issues.
- Lead or participate in departmental projects and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience in the asset management sector; familiarity with SMA is advantageous.
- Operational expertise in securities, trading, portfolio management, trade settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions, and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.
- Ability to maintain composure while navigating challenges and changes.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in technology, with experience in CRD, Tableau, or Alteryx preferred.
- Demonstrated capability to prioritize tasks effectively and follow through systematically.
Compensation for this role includes a competitive base salary, along with eligibility for an individual annual performance bonus and a company-wide profitability bonus. Additionally, Capital Group contributes 15% of your eligible earnings to a retirement plan.
