About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled SMA Portfolio Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our investment operations team, you will be responsible for the accurate implementation of investment orders in SMA models and ensuring the delivery of model changes to sponsor firms in a timely and accurate fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement investment orders in SMA models
  • Deliver model changes to sponsor firms
  • Work independently on most assignments or under the direct supervision of more senior staff on more complex scenarios, projects, analyses, and tasks
  • Liaise between our investment group, trading, product, legal, client services, and various IO operational teams to deliver business priorities and resolve issues
  • Leverage technology and automation tools to scale operations to support business growth
  • Participate in or lead team and department-level projects as well as process engineering initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in the asset management industry, with SMA experience a plus
  • Operational knowledge of securities, trading, portfolio management, trade settlement, reconciliation, corporate actions, and reporting
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, with the ability to adapt to different audiences
  • Highly composed while navigating obstacles and/or change
  • Well-organized with acute attention to detail
  • Aptitude for technology and experience with CRD, Tableau, or Alteryx
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and methodically follow through

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, you will also be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus, plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
