About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Casino Operations Shift Manager to join our team at Hollywood Casino Perryville. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our casino floor, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of Slot Service Ambassadors and Guest Safety Officers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the flow of Slot Service Ambassadors and Guest Safety Officers on the floor, ensuring proper coverage and redirecting staff as needed.
  • Supervise and lead a team of Slot Service Ambassadors and Guest Safety Officers, including maintaining shift schedules, providing ongoing training, coaching, and counseling, and conducting timely performance appraisals.
  • Promote and maintain the Red Carpet Customer Service program, ensuring exceptional customer experiences for all guests and cast members.
  • Oversee the various functions of casino operation, including slot management, customer service, and security.
  • Act as a resource for team members and guests, addressing unusual circumstances, safety concerns, and security issues.
  • Verify slot-related transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure guest comfort and satisfaction, and ensure that all team members perform their duties in accordance with their position description and service guarantees.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all Cast Members follow security policies and procedures and report any violations.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three or more years of recent and related casino experience, preferably in slot operations.
  • Two or more years of related managerial experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, etc.) with excellent report writing skills.
  • Must qualify for licensing by the Maryland Gaming Commission.
