Position Summary
In the role of Social Media Marketing Lead, you will be tasked with crafting and executing the social media strategy for four primary brands and over 70 Division Partners. Collaborating closely with the VP of Digital and Technology and brand partners, you will identify suitable channels for each business unit and establish relevant KPIs for every platform. This position positions you as the organization's social media authority, guiding brand representatives and the Creative Services team in developing suitable content for brand channels and addressing social media inquiries.

  • Formulate comprehensive social media strategies for each of the parent company's four primary brands and 70+ Division Partners.
  • Establish key performance indicators for social media initiatives.
  • Oversee social media channels through Hootsuite and native platforms, generating reports to monitor engagement and key metrics.
  • Collaborate with Shared/Creative Services and Brand teams to produce engaging text, video, and graphic social media content.
  • Utilize knowledge of emerging trends and technologies to enhance social programs and keep the broader marketing team updated on changes in social platform offerings.
  • Analyze competitors across social media channels and keep Brand teams informed of strategic adjustments.
  • Coordinate with the paid media team to ensure organic and paid social strategies align to achieve KPIs.
  • Partner with PR leadership and agencies to define and support live event social strategies, providing hands-on assistance as necessary.
  • Guide Brand social media coordinators on best practices for content and community management, reviewing monthly content calendars.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media brand strategies, campaigns, and plans to enhance brand/company visibility.
  • Manage daily campaign operations, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Create, maintain, and expand new and existing social networks.
  • Track social media performance using web analytics tools.
  • Implement optimization strategies, analyze data, and explore the best methods to boost traffic.
  • Evaluate campaign success and devise strategies for improvement.
  • Establish new influencer partnerships.
  • Investigate new social media platforms, trends, and industry opportunities.
  • Provide insights from social media trends and research to business strategists.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar tools.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices.
  • Strong analytical and time-management capabilities.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in social media management.
  • Preferred background in B2B marketing.
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or HubSpot.
  • Familiarity with Canva.
  • Experience with web design, production, and creative design across various platforms.
  • Proven ability to identify and create campaigns targeting specific audiences.
