Job Title: Financial Manager V

Join Mindlance as a Financial Manager V and take on a challenging role that requires strong financial leadership and strategic business acumen. As a key business partner to the Plant Manager and the broader Supply Chain Finance team, you will be responsible for directing all financial functions for the manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with plant staff to execute and deliver annual operating plans, forecasts, and financial analysis and reporting.
  • Develop and implement operating plans, forecasts, and financial analysis and reporting.
  • Direct timely and accurate financial closings, ensuring general ledger accounts are correctly stated and classified, and financial reporting is prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Drive system of internal controls and ensure that financial reporting is prepared in accordance with GAAP.
  • Interact with multiple cross-functional team members at both plant and corporate levels.
Principal Accountabilities:
  • Participate as a key business partner to Plant Management, contributing to plant strategy development and execution of annual plans that drive YoY improvements.
  • Direct and manage all financial and accounting functions for the plant, leading annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and the management accounting/reporting process.
  • Review and advise the management team on all financial/budgetary requirements and develop financial goals in partnership with plant and corporate leadership.
  • Lead plant/corporate Enabler (cost savings) programs and plant teams toward driving YoY productivity improvements.
  • Provide financial leadership on all aspects of plant supply chain management, effectively communicating financial risks and opportunities to plant management and corporate.
  • Review control procedures over accounting and financial activities, providing guidance to ensure that internal accounting controls are in place to protect company assets.
  • Oversee preparation of the plant's financial reporting, analyzing and reporting manufacturing efficiency variances and determining corrective action requirements.
  • Drive strategic business analysis that includes short and long-term value creation.
  • Proactive financial leader who provides guidance and mentoring to plant staff on all financial aspects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Ideal experience in a similar manufacturing/plant environment with 5+ years of relevant experience in Cost Accounting.
  • Manufacturing & cost accounting experience strongly preferred.
  • SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to partner with all levels of the organization.
  • Data analytics capabilities.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
  • MUST be strong in MS EXCEL - pivot tables, v and x lookups.
