Job Title: General Dentist

Mary's Center is a leading healthcare organization committed to delivering high-quality dental care to underserved communities. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our team.

Job Summary

The General Dentist will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care to patients, including routine and emergency procedures. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete routine and comprehensive oral examinations
  • Maintain the quality of dental care
  • Deliver fillings, endodontics, extractions, partials, crown and bridge, and sealants, etc.
  • Diagnose dental disease, oral pathology, and develop a written treatment plan and prioritize treatments
  • Provide ongoing dental education
  • Document services on the encounter
  • Oversee the dental hygienist and the dental assistant on duty
  • Consult on the purchase of dental equipment
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Completion of ADA accredited dental program
  • DDS/DMD degree
  • Certification through DEA
  • Valid Washington DC License

Compensation

The salary for this position is $150,000/year.
