Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough and gentle dental hygiene services to patients, including cleanings, exams, and education.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and professional relationship with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene techniques and technologies, and participate in ongoing education and training.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
