Geriatric Care Nurse Opportunity

About the Role


As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our Geriatric Care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will develop and implement individualized nursing care plans to ensure the needs of our residents are met. You will also attend to the daily operations of the unit and assume leadership responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities


• Provide direct patient care to residents in a geriatric setting
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans
• Attend to daily unit operations and assume leadership responsibilities as needed
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care
• Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements


• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (diploma)
• License for Practical Nursing and AHA CPR Certification
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Synquest, IV Pump, Phillips Monitoring System, Accucheck, and EKG Machine
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
