Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Calibration and Testing Professional to join our team at Micro Precision. As an Electronics/Mechanical Calibration Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining, testing, and calibrating a variety of instruments and equipment to ensure accurate readings and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-evaluation and inspections of customer equipment to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Perform calibration and testing of instruments and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate updates on calibration status.
  • Analyze data and generate reports to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
  • Transport instruments and equipment to and from customer facilities and Micro Precision locations.
  • Notify management and customers of any issues or concerns related to instrument calibration or testing.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in electronic or mechanical technology.
  • Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of calibration procedures and uncertainty computation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical or related degree in Calibration, Instrumentation, Electronics, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standards and procedures.
  • Experience with computer applications and data analysis.
