Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Accountant to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project accounting, including job cost tracking, revenue recognition, and full disbursement.
  • Utilize Vista Viewpoint software to input and track financial data.
  • Prepare and update project budgets and forecasts.
  • Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices.
  • Ensure accurate and timely percent completion accounting.
  • Prepare financial reports for project managers and senior management.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction project accounting.
  • Extensive experience with percent completion accounting.
  • Proficiency in using Vista Viewpoint software.
  • Strong understanding of full disbursement.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Keen attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
