Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including health maintenance, acute care, and chronic disease management
  • Collaborate with licensed physicians to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
  • Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies
  • Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by state law
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Current State of Wisconsin Physician Assistant licensure
  • Current certification from the National Commission on Certifications of Physician Assistants
  • Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) awarded by the American Health Association (AHA) at time of hire
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 40 hours per week. Family Health Center of Marshfield is an equal employment opportunity employer.
