Job Description:

The Maricopa County, AZ, is seeking a skilled Business Process Improvement Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the IT department, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving business processes, identifying opportunities for streamlining and enhancing efficiency.

About the Position:
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of business analysis principles, quality assurance practices, and systems development life cycles. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, document business needs, and develop functional specifications. Your expertise in configuring and administering Records Management Systems (RMS) will be essential in implementing effective solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Gather and document business requirements
- Design clear process flows, user stories, and functional requirements
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand and document business requirements
- Learn and comprehend business practices and processes to improve business-related problem-solving abilities
- Partner with software developers and system engineers to create business applications and IT enhancements

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- One year of experience identifying, developing, and recommending business processes or application improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing IT environments
