Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers, including inspectors, precision workers, machine setters and operators, assemblers, fabricators, and plant and system operators.
  • Review work orders, product specifications, and other materials to plan and schedule production activities.
  • Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, including training, planning, assigning, and directing work.
  • Enforce safety and sanitation regulations, ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to.
  • Communicate effectively with both English and non-English speaking employees to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other language.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of production procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance in the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex instructions to a diverse team.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
