As a Child Behavioral Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing care to young clients aged 1-21 who face significant behavioral challenges. Your work will involve offering supervision and therapeutic assistance to help these children thrive.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver personalized support within clients' homes and their local communities.
- Transport clients safely using your own reliable vehicle.
- Adhere to treatment plans developed collaboratively with the client’s family and case management team.
- Utilize smartphone applications and email for communication and documentation, with training provided as needed.
- While an active BHP Certification is not mandatory, our organization will equip you with the necessary resources to excel in this role.
- Experience working with children is advantageous (e.g., education, childcare, babysitting).
- A passion for early childhood education, social work, or psychology is encouraged.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Clean driving record and successful background check are required.
- Active motor vehicle insurance and registration are necessary.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
