About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrocardiography Program Manager to lead our Cardiac EKG/Holter Laboratory at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring the delivery of high-quality electrocardiography services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement the overall strategy for the electrocardiography program, aligning with the hospital's mission and goals.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring the efficient use of resources and effective allocation of funds.
  • Lead a team of electrocardiography technicians and other staff members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Collaborate with medical directors, program directors, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of electrocardiography services.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance initiatives, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze statistical data related to electrocardiography studies, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Provide training and education to staff members, medical students, and other healthcare professionals on electrocardiography techniques and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in electrocardiography technology and techniques, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • At least five years of experience in electrocardiography, with a strong background in program management.
  • Three years of supervisory experience in a major academic medical center.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of electrocardiography platforms and technology, as well as client groups and issues related to the program area.
  • Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac electrocardiography.
