Job Title: Principal / Senior Principal Digital Verification Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly skilled digital verification engineers to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a Principal or Senior Principal Digital Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing full-custom digital and mixed signal superconducting processor circuits. You will work closely with our team of scientists and engineers to push the boundaries of innovation and drive advancements in the sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop full-custom digital and mixed signal superconducting processor circuits
  • Develop and implement verification methodologies using HDL (VHDL/Verilog) and HVL (SystemVerilog)
  • Work closely with the team to integrate and test the developed circuits
  • Collaborate with other engineers to develop and implement new technologies and innovations
  • Develop and maintain documentation and technical reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical area (BSEE or other Engineering discipline preferred) with 5-8 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in HDL (VHDL/Verilog) and HVL (SystemVerilog)
  • Experience with SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA) and Universal Verification Methodology (UVM)
  • Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Python, Tcl)
  • Familiarity with Linux OS
  • Familiarity with a coverage driven verification methodology from planning through closure
  • Knowledge of industry standard interfaces
  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages and concepts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree either MS or PhD
  • Active Full Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
  • Experience with Mentor Graphics and/or Cadence Verification tools - FPGA/ASIC Design experience
