Job Description

WMH Solutions is seeking an experienced Regional Aftermarket Director to lead our Aftermarket operations across the Tennessee division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, developing strategic initiatives, and leading efforts to support future growth in alignment with WMH's vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Strategy:
    • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance aftermarket operations across the Tennessee division.
    • Oversee day-to-day operations for parts, service, and aftermarket operations to ensure performance targets and customer satisfaction goals are met.
    • Collaborate with sales director and senior branch management members to align regional goals with the overall vision of WMH.
    • Support the growth of current operations and client base, while driving the division's future potential through new branch openings and the expansion of existing operations.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Monitor and improve operational processes to ensure efficient workflow, reducing costs while maintaining high service quality.
    • Drive KPIs such as service response times, customer retention, and inventory management to achieve maximum efficiency and profitability.
    • Lead efforts to maintain compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Team Development & Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop the aftermarket team, including service managers, technicians, and parts specialists.
    • Build a high-performing team by identifying talent, implementing approved training programs, and supporting career development.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers, providing them with exceptional aftermarket support and ensuring retention.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to identify and address customer needs, offering customized solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Resolve escalated customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Business Development & Growth:
    • Identify opportunities to expand aftermarket services within the region, leveraging WMH's partnerships and industry expertise.
    • Support the expansion of aftermarket operations in new markets, coordinating with other divisions and departments to ensure seamless growth.
    • Lead efforts to introduce new service offerings, technologies, and innovations to improve customer service.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field, or equivalent industry-specific experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aftermarket operations or service management, preferably in the material handling or industrial equipment industry.
  • Willingness to travel on a weekly basis to your divisional branches, with flexibility to travel across division lines as needed to support larger business initiatives.
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing multiple branches or regions and drive performance in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data, develop strategies, and drive results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control.
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment, parts management, and service operations is a plus.
